BBQ Bonanza
The Annual BBQ Bonanza event was held on May 15 & 16, 2026 at the Huntingdon County Fairgrounds. An incredible $55,000 was raised this year to benefit Huntingdon County United Way and RAISEtown Care Connect. On May 9, 2026, Bob Perks Fund of Mifflin County held their 1st annual Mifflin County Cancer Rally at Kish Park in Lewistown. ABATE Basket Raffle
The A.B.A.T.E. of PA Chapter 53 Patriot Riders held their annual Basket Raffle to benefit Bob Perks Fund on April 25, 2026 at the Burnham Fraternal Order of Eagles. Attendees had several opportunities to win, including 50/50, rip tickets, and various raffles. We are so lucky to have the Patriot Riders supporting our cancer warriors in Mifflin County. 80’s Dance Party
The Huntingdon County Core Group of BPF volunteers held an 80’s Dance Party on April 18, 2026 at the Mapleton American Legion. DJ services were provided by DJ Duane. Attendees pulled out their leg warmers and hair gel for one special night of 80’s fun! A prize was awarded for the best 80’s outfit. Kaup Foundation $10,000 Donation
On April 14, 2026, representatives from the Rex H. Kaup Memorial Foundation presented Bob Perks Fund with a check for $10,000. This incredibly generous donation will make an enormous difference in the lives of Blair County cancer warriors as they fight their battles. Rex Kaup was a lifelong Altoona native and Penn State graduate. He passed away in 2021 after a battle with lymphoma, and his friends, family, and colleagues started the foundation in his memory.
