The 17th Annual Girls Night Out event was held on October 22, 2025. Approximately 1,100 attendees from all over the community gathered at the Blair County Convention Center to raise funds for breast cancer research, to support local breast cancer patients, and to remind everyone to schedule their annual mammograms. THANK YOU to the Rotary Club of DuBois for once again choosing Bob Perks Fund as a recipient of grant funds from their Annual Rotary Radio Auction. Rotary President, Jay Lohn, presented BPF with a check for $400.00 at their meeting on September 23, 2025. We are so grateful for this generous donation to help ease the financial burden of Clearfield County cancer patients.

On September 3, 2025, representatives from BPF attended the 1st Annual Senior Wellness Expo at the Juniata County Fairgrounds. We are so grateful for this opportunity to share information about Bob Perks Fund with our local seniors. Thank you to the event organizers for this lovely invitation!

In September 2025, Rickey Himes and the Huntingdon County Core Group of volunteers represented Bob Perks Fund at the Mount Union and Mill Creek Fire Department's annual gun raffles. Just by volunteering to sell rip tickets and serve food, these incredible champions of BPF raised a grand total of $2,738.25. This generous donation will help our friends and neighbors battling cancer in Huntingdon County to pay their bills while going through treatments. THANK YOU for your great

Coaches vs. Cancer of Penn State held their 16th Annual Reverse Car Drawing on September 11, 2025 at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Attendees enjoyed world class food provided by Catering with Style, entertainment, great company, and the chance to win either a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport or a 2025 Ford Maverick. We are truly grateful to both CvC of Penn State and the American Cancer Society for their unwavering support of local cancer patients as cherished BPF Strategic Partners. T

The 8th Annual Clay Shoot to benefit Bob Perks Fund was held at the Shenecoy Sportmens Club on September 13, 2025. Participants were invited to the 15-station course to shoot clay, skeet, or trap. This fantastic event raised $1,130.00 to support Huntingdon County cancer patients. On August 28, 2025, Veeder-Root employees gathered for their annual Day of Caring Walk-a-Thon to benefit Bob Perks Fund. These dedicated supporters raised $2,050.00 to support their neighbors in need battling cancer, while walking numerous miles throughout the day.
